The Bushmanland lies between the Orange River in the north, Namaqualand in the west, Loeriesfontein in the south and Van Wyksvlei, Verneukpan and the Hartbees River in the east. The height is between 900 and 1200 metres above sealevel, sloping down towards the Kalahari-basin in the northwest.
